Demand for International and Australian Engineering and Technical Jobs Continues

Strong demand for Engineers and Technical specialists continues on a domestic and global basis despite the gloomy international outlook and declines in other sectors.

Traffic to International Engineering Job site (ExpatEngineer.net) grew by 7% in August (an increase of 67% on the same time last year)

The USA again had the biggest increase in demand for overseas jobs (23%) and Australians continue to look overseas for work with large traffic increases from Sydney (44%) and Melbourne (29%).

Traffic to “Engineering Jobs Australia” grew by a modest 3% in August (an increase of 92% on the same time last year) .

Engineering Jobs Australia witnessed big increases in traffic from Sydney (52%) Melbourne (43%) and London (48%) in August but little or no gain in Perth and Brisbane.
