Due to demand for our services, we are searching for a Turbine Field Technician with a strong background on F Class Turbines. You will be responsible for all hands on disassembly, inspection, and assembly related to service outage work on gas turbines. What you will be doing! - Site specific safety policies and objectives - Apply quality control procedures during opening, inspection, and closing of turbine generators - Perform coupling alignment on turbine generators including exciter, starting package and small rotating equipment alignment - Site specific safety and foreign material control procedures - Apply quality control procedures and adhere to all quality documentation. - Align turbine combustor components, turbine interstage seal housings, blade rings, and transitions - Perform turbine component blading - Record airfoil dimensions - Provide training to subcontractors and technicians on the job - Support tooling development and replenishment as required - Provide leadership for rigging and crane signals for turbine generator components - Utilize hytorq, tensioning, and bolt heater equipment for disassembly/assembly activities related to turbine-generator equipment What you need for this position! - 5+ years in Power Industry - Industrial Gas Turbines - 3+ years on F class Industrial gas Turbines - High school degree, trade school, or combination of education and experience - Solid computer skills - Ability to travel 75-80% - Ability to work day or night shift - Hands-on, mechanical aptitude What's in it for you! - Competitive salary based on experience - Annual bonus - Comprehensive benefits - Matching 401k - Great location - Pleasant and professional work environment - Career advancement - Growing organization - Other cool perks!
