Job Description
A world leading manufacturer is seeking Electrical Engineers with industrial experience installing operating and maintaining high speed automation hardware and associated electrical systems. Work locations are Greenville Spartanburg and Columbia South Carolina and Fort Wayne Indiana.This position is a mix of hands-on technical leadership for plant automated manufacturing lines and electrical infrastructure along with capital project management and execution. Some positions are plant based and some are based at the corporate engineering office and require travel to plant locations for up to 2 weeks at a time. Responsibilities: -> Use your experience in industrial electrical engineering to support installation operations and maintenance of high speed automated manufacturing processes and equipment -> Work on projects that range from simple modifications of existing machinery to large-scale expansion projects -> Design specify purchase and oversee installation of electrical systems in the plant to run the automated manufacturing line including motors substations raceways switchgear PLCs and motor controls from 13.8 kV down to 480V -> Complete projects on the fire alarms lighting telecom and computer systems as needed -> Be involved hands-on with equipment and processes by being available to the operators and maintenance personnel and gaining intimate knowledge of the process Requirements: -> BS in Electrical Engineering -> 3 to 7 years hands-on experience in plant electrical systems design operations and maintenance in an industrial setting -> Experience with high speed automated manufacturing lines and associated hardware -> Experience with PLC hardware installation and operations -> Experience with lighting control components process instrumentation and discrete devices -> Experience with maintenance of high medium and low voltage electrical systems -> Should be familiar with PLC programming languages such as RSLogix but THIS IS NOT A PLC PROGRAMMER JOB Benefits: -> Outstanding benefits including insurance holidays vacation -> Pension and 401k s: electrical engineer electrical engineering electrical installation electrical field engineer electrical design engineer bsee electric project engineer electrical commissioning engineer hv engineer project manager project engineer product engineer product leader project management controls engineer instrumentation engineer i&c engineer instrumentation and controls engineer controls engineering dcs engineer i&c design engineer schematic diagram one line one-line ladder logic control systems lighting substation ladder diagram logic diagram loop diagram relay loop sheets nfpa nec plc interfaces i&c instrumentation and controls power distribution panel design panel layout breaker dcs feeder diagrams power systems industrial power nema transformers breakers secondary power motors drives switchgear switch gear uninterruptible power supplies lighting protection national electric nec codes nec specifications switching center power central office power industrial distribution system inverter nfpta power distribution electrical power systems conduit and cable schedules power plans riser diagrams grounding systems relay coordination studies voltage drop calculations conduit fill calculations short circuit studies automation robot chain line assembly line assembly
