Visual Effects Artist Visual Effects Artist - Skills Required - Visual Effects, FX Artist, Adobe After Effects, Unreal 3.0, Video Games, After Burn 3.0,Animation, Lighting, Photo-Realistic Visuals, Real-Time Game Visual Effects Artist Join an exciting company where you experience as a Visual Effects Artist can bring great value! As the Visual Effects Artist, you will: ~ Deliver innovative visuals effects that respect the limitations of Real Time game development. ~ Create all artwork required for the FX such as modeling, skinning, animation or lighting. ~ Recreate FX in a particle editor and have strong texturing skills. ~ Create photo-realistic visual effects. ~ Ability to establish priorities and multi-task efficiently within a high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines. ~ Willingness to observe, absorb and modify own work based on many avenues of artistic criticism. ~ Demonstrate technical skills such as scripting, shader creation. ~ Facilitate further development of internal effects editing tools. ~ Works with the Art Director and other leads to create high quality visual effects. Qualifications: ~ Bachelors of Fine Arts from an accredited school or equivalent experience. ~ 3 years of experience in the video game industry or film/TV production. ~ Must have shipped at least one (1) video game title as an FX artist. ~ Unreal 3.0 development experience required ~ Must submit an exceptional portfolio or Website of current samples for consideration ~ Highly experienced in 3ds Max and Photoshop. ~ Strong attention to detail ~ Good understanding of color theory, lighting and composition. ~ Great communication skills, both written and verbal. ~ Exceptional portfolio.
